Why would I fund coins my players can spend at other venues?
Because a coin is earned at your club — for a booking, a visit, a completed challenge. That's the engagement you paid for, and it already happened. Where the coin gets spent later doesn't change that. And because coins work everywhere, they're worth more to players — which makes your challenges work harder.
Can we start without the coin economy?
Yes. Start with the CRM: player profiles, challenges and campaigns. Add coins whenever you're ready — plenty of clubs will want to see the engagement numbers first. See pricing for both options.
What happens to players' coins if we cancel?
Nothing bad. Every coin is prepaid and backed by cash, so players keep what they earned and can spend it as usual. Cancelling only stops new coins — your players are never punished for your decision.
Do we need IT work to get started?
No. Connect your Playtomic account and you're live — no SDK, no integration project. Most clubs publish their first challenge the same afternoon.
What does it cost?
Founding clubs get founding pricing, agreed on a call. For reference: many clubs pay €250 a month for a loyalty tool alone — PUP replaces that, plus the spreadsheets. See pricing.
